Test Datasets

DECTRIS provides various test data sets for download in cbf-format (PILATUS detectors) and HDF5/NeXus-format (EIGER detectors).

Access

You can download the files via the links below or by accessing our ftp-server with the following credentials:

user=ftpuser
pw=dectris2006

EIGER

After downloading, please unpack the archives to obtain EIGER test datasets in HDF5 format. For processing, use the XDS.INP provided, the metadata in master.h5 or the data collection parameters shown in the table below.

EIGER with bit-shuffle LZ4 compression

In Nov 2015, a new version of the EIGER firmware was released that supports bit-shuffle LZ4 compression, which results in a substantially reduced file size. New versions of H5ToXds and ALBULA to work with these data have been released.

Please note that these datasets were collected with detectors running different versions of the firmware (as indicated). The extent of recorded metadata thus differs slightly. For more information on the final implementation of the experimental metadata, please check the NeXus section.

PILATUS

After downloading, please unpack the archives to obtain PILATUS test datasets (CBF images). For processing use the parameters shown in the table below.
