Detailed Description

Class DColorTable is an opaque class containing color data that shall be passed to DColorMap.

DColorTable defines at least one path in color space, which DColorMap uses for mapping image data to rgb. As second color path may be defined for logrithmic mapping (only hdr()). Instances of DColorTable are obtained by static accessor functions defined below. There are four color modes implemented:

  • High Dynamic Range:
    • Accessor: hdr()
    • Linear: Same as Grey
    • Logarithmic: Same as Heat
  • Grey Scales:
    • Accessor: grey()
    • Linear: From white to black
    • Logarithmic: None
  • Heat:
    • Accessor: heat()
    • Linear: From black to red to yellow to white
    • Logarithmic: None
  • Rainbow:
    • Accessor: rainbow()
    • Between: Rainbow colors between red and violet.
    • Logarithmic: None
